YOUR MISSION
- Designing systems and architecture
- Developing new features and writing their implementation
- Reviewing, analyzing and fixing bottlenecks and bugs
- Improving our processes through agile development practices
- Maintaining and improving our deployment infrastructure and pipeline
- Learning through pair programming, collaboration and code review
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of strong Ruby on Rails expertise
- Proven architectural design experience
- Experience with Web application development and object-oriented programming
- Expertise in design and consumption of APIs
- Relational database knowledge (like PostgreSQL)
- Solid understanding of IT security concepts
- Excited about working with other engineers and product experts in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Motivated, well organised, proactive, eager to learn and self-improve
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Bonus points:
- Python
- AWS deployment expertise
- Redis/Memcached
- Serverless (AWS Lambda)
- Familiarity with microservice/macroservice architecture
- Previous agile development experience
- Fintech background
